Community Ministry of Southwest Denver is a non-profit that was established in 1968 by a group of churches to help meet the needs of the poor in their area. The mission is to meet the basic needs of qualified people in Southwest Denver who are experiencing economic hardship and related problems. We do this by providing an emergency food bank, children's clothing bank and utility assistance. Community Ministry is supported by churches, schools and other organizations in the area through in-kind and financial donations as well as grants.
