First Baptist Church of Tahoe City provides daycare and spiritual instruction to over 17,000 children a year. They've saved enough ink jets to get vans so that they can pick children up from the schools and bring them to the ministries. They also use the vans for field trips and for transportation for volunteer groups. They are now saving the ink jets for housing for future staff. Housing costs in CA have skyrocketed and in order to secure the future of the church and ministries to children, they need housing for future staff. If you are interested in keeping track of the progress of their project, they would be happy to send you monthly e-mail updates.
